There may come a time when you need to deactivate a card for various reasons, such as suspected fraudulent activities or the need to secure the card temporarily. Deactivating a debit card on the Sudo dashboard is a straightforward process and, in this article, we'll guide you through the steps to deactivate a debit card on the Sudo dashboard.

Step 1: Log in to Your Sudo Dashboard

To begin the process of deactivating a debit card, log in to your Sudo dashboard.

Step 2: Access the Cards Section

After logging in, navigate to the left side of the dashboard and select the Cards option. This will display a list of all the cards you have created.

Step 3: Choose the Card to Deactivate

From the list of cards displayed, identify and select the specific card you would like to deactivate.

Step 4: Temporarily Deactivate the Card

Below the card image on the right side of the screen, click on the Freeze Card option to temporarily deactivate the card. This action ensures that the card cannot be used for any transactions until it is unfrozen.

Step 5: Permanently Deactivate the Card

If you wish to permanently deactivate the card, click on the three dots beside the card profile to display additional options. From the list of options, select Block Card to complete the process of permanently deactivating the card.

Remember to unfreeze the card if you wish to reactivate it for future use. Additionally, if you encounter any difficulties or require further assistance, do not hesitate to reach out to the Sudo support team for prompt and reliable support.
