Creating an app on the Safe Haven API allows developers to integrate secure data storage and access control features into their applications, this guide will put you through the process of creating an app using the Safe Haven API ensuring your user data remains secure with seamless functionality within your app. Before you can start using Safe Haven's API, you need to create an OAuth app on the dashboard. To do this follow these steps:

Step 1: Log in to your Dashboard.

Login to your dashboard to get started, go to the settings page, and click on OAuth Apps to view your apps. Then, click the Add new app button.

Step 2: Enter App Details.

On the displayed screen, enter the Application Name, Description, and select the scope and app type (Private or Public).

Step 3: Generate Keys.

To generate the public and private keys, click on the information icon next to X509 Public Key. Run the provided code in a terminal or command prompt and save the generated keys in a directory.

Step 4: Create an App.

Finally, after generating the public key, paste it in the public key field and click the Add Application button to create the app. Once your application is created, you will be redirected to the app details page. Here, you can access and copy your OAuth Client ID and update other details as needed.

Note: For more information on signing your client assertion, refer to the documentation.

By following the steps outlined, you can now successfully create an app on the Safe Haven API to confidently develop robust and secure applications that provide a seamless user experience.
